A panoramic terrace overlooking lake Geneva and the French Alps. The suspended structure is built on concealed pilotis and is moulded around a mature magnolia at its centre. Taking its subtly skewed form from the changing orientation of the slope, the structure is delineated by an airy steel railing providing security with textured transparency. Below the terrace a band of loose shrub planting screens the deck substructure and blends it naturally into the sloping garden.
