A ‘gardenesque’ farm in Western Switzerland. A fresh perspective was needed to refine and update the neglected utilitarian spaces surrounding a charismatic 19th Century farmhouse. The new arrangement combines traditional approaches with contemporary accents in a series of productive ornamental gardens that collectively reinterpret the notion of the ‘ferme ornée’, a working garden idealised.
